Check the signature

A SynthCamp encode carries the artist's Creative Credits sealed with a cryptographic signature, and a WAV exported from our mastering carries a receipt saying where it was processed and what its own source arrived with. Drop either below to confirm it is genuine and read what it says. The check happens in your browser against our public key registry.

How it works

1. We read the provenance frames written into the file when it was encoded.
2. We look up the signing key by its id in the public registry.
3. We confirm the Ed25519 signature covers the exact credits, so a forged tag cannot pass.

The signature seals what the artist declared, not a claim that the declaration is true. Read more on the trust page or in the provenance spec.
