About SynthCamp
Built in France.
SynthCamp is an artist-first marketplace for independent music. Releases here come with Creative Credits: a per-strata grid of who did what across lyrics, melody, vocals, arrangement, mixing, and mastering, plus the AI tools the artist actually used (Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs, and so on). The grid sits on the release page itself, before you press play.
The AI question in music is poisoning trust between artists and listeners. Most platforms either ignore it or treat it as something to police. We took a different route. Declaring the AI tools you used is normal on SynthCamp. An artist describing how a sampled stem fed an arrangement, or that a melody started in Suno before being rewritten by hand, gets respect for the choices they made.
What SynthCamp sells is streaming access to a release, tied to your account and valid for as long as the release stays published (plus twelve months after, if the artist later unpublishes). No downloads. No monthly bundle. On the money side, the artist keeps 85% paid out through Stripe Connect on their own schedule; SynthCamp keeps 15% to cover hosting, the encoder, payments, and operating cost. Pay-what-you-want runs above a per-release floor, so the artist can sell above the floor and never below it.
Some music wants to be heard together. SynthCamp runs Launch Partiesin fixed Sound Rooms: synchronous sessions where the artist drops a release at a scheduled minute and everyone in the room hears it at the same time. The Global Master Channel hosts two flagship slots a month; artist-led channels run on first-come fifteen-minute slots. The player follows the host's clock and the room chat sits next to the visualizer for the duration.
When SynthCamp shows you a ranked surface, the criterion is published in plain language right there. The “Top this month” hero on the home page picks the release with the highest sales over the previous thirty days. The Curators leaderboard sums attendees across a host's Discovery parties. Sound Rooms order rooms by friend and followed-artist presence inside them. There is no editor on staff picking releases.
