- How much does SynthCamp take?
- SynthCamp takes 15%, so you keep 85%. There is no listing fee, no upload fee, and no subscription. During the founding window, early artists pay no platform fee at all. Many platforms and stores sit between 15% and 30%.
- Do I get paid directly?
- Yes. Buyers pay into your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. SynthCamp never holds your money in a platform wallet, and Stripe pays out to your bank on the schedule you set.
- Do I have to give SynthCamp exclusivity?
- No. You can release the same music here and anywhere else, on your own timing. If you want to give fans the first listen, a launch party or a pre-save does that without an exclusive window or any claim on your rights.
- Is my music protected?
- Listeners stream through gated, encrypted audio rather than open downloadable files. Your Creative Credits are signed into the audio with a cryptographic signature, and the watermark a generator leaves in the file is kept intact.
- Where do AI-assisted artists fit?
- Right alongside acoustic, hybrid, and fully human artists, in the same catalogue. Creative Credits let you disclose how you made the music as a point of pride. SynthCamp is built for the AI Act transparency rules, beyond what the law asks of a marketplace.
- How does discovery work?
- Discovery is automated and the criterion behind each ranked surface is printed in plain language right where it appears. No human picks the releases you see, and there is no personalised feed.
