Creative Credits

Creative Credits are how an artist on SynthCamp declares what they made and what an AI model made, on every release. The artist labels the work, names the human strata and the AI tools, and signs the declaration into the audio so it travels with the music.

Three ways a release is credited

AcousticFour or more human strata declared.: The human did most of the making. Lyrics, melody, vocals, arrangement, mixing, and mastering are the six strata, and an acoustic release claims at least four of them as human work.
HybridSome human strata, some AI.: A real collaboration between the artist and the tools. The artist names which parts are theirs and which AI tools they used, so the split is on the record.
AI-craftedNo human strata, AI tools named.: The music came from generation, and the artist says so plainly. Crafting a strong AI-made release is a skill, and the credit names the tools openly.

The six human strata

A release is broken into six strata. The artist claims a stratum only when the work there is genuinely human. Prompting a tool to write the lyrics or compose the melody does not count as doing it.

Signed into the audio

A credit only matters if it cannot be faked. SynthCamp signs the declaration into the audio with a cryptographic signature, so anyone can confirm the credits came from us and were not forged upstream. We also keep the watermark a generator leaves in the file intact. If Suno or Udio marked it, the mark survives our pipeline.
