This song took a lot a lot of prompt refinement and retries in combination with lyrics tricks in a fight with the AI in order to finally obtain this atmospheric song reminiscent of fantasy video game city themes. Turns out getting the AI to generate low pitch and drawn out violin noises that also sound atmospheric is difficult to do. It was an experiment to see whether or not AI can understand interjections and the ability to stop music or make it react to the singer in key moments. It is inspired by popular asian style hack and slash RPG games with hard rock and edgy soundtracks. This song is about the struggle and drama of being part of a race cursed and condemned to be inevitably trapped in an eternity of darkness and despair. Despite this, you are attempting to arrogantly to defy fate through sheer will and determination. Why care about consequences? Even being able to feel or touch anything that does not reside in total darkness and despair is worth any sacrifice and pain. Nobody knows your struggle better than you shamelessly display arrogance and find joy in the chance you seized for yourself.
