Marketplace status

SynthCamp is an online marketplace where independent artists sell their music releases directly to listeners. Each artist is the seller of record for their own releases. SynthCamp acts as an online platform operator (article L. 111-7 of the French Consumer Code) and as a hosting provider (article 6.I.2 of the LCEN, loi 2004-575) for content uploaded by artists. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Intellectual property

All content uploaded by artists remains the property of those artists. The SynthCamp name, logo, and platform code are owned by the publisher listed below. Reproduction without authorization is prohibited.

Reporting and disputes

For copyright takedown notices (DMCA / LCEN article 6.I.5), use the guided form at /legal/dmca. For any other allegedly illegal content (DSA article 16), use /legal/report. The single point of contact under articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act is [email protected]. The full content moderation policy (DSA article 14) is at /legal/moderation-policy. The user-conduct rules (harassment, impersonation, hate speech, parody, diss tracks, sock-puppet detection, three-strikes enforcement, appeals) live at /legal/community-standards. AI transparency

SynthCamp is a marketplace dedicated to AI-assisted and AI-generated music. The dedicated AI transparency page describes how Creative Credits, machine-readable HLS metadata and watermark preservation satisfy article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act) and the precontractual transparency obligation of article L. 111-7 of the French Consumer Code.

Ranking transparency

The few surfaces on SynthCamp that show ranked content (currently the home hero) are automated and criterion-based. The dedicated ranking transparency index lists each ranked surface with its parameters, weights, and available user options, satisfying article 27 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).

Auxiliary services are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) and Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Audio fingerprint matching for the duplicate-detection pipeline is processed by ACRCloud (eu-west-1 region, Frankfurt) on uploaded audio samples. Sample retention and processing are governed by ACRCloud's data processing agreement.
