“Why The Beast Was Reimagined When I first wrote The Beast, I created a character who was cold, emotionally detached, and seemed incapable of love. He used women, pushed everyone away, and wore his lack of emotion like armour. At the time, that was the story I wanted to tell. But the more I listened back to the album, the more I realised something was missing. He felt too one-dimensional. Too much of a villain. I wanted there to be a reason behind his actions instead of simply making him heartless. That's why I chose to reimagine the album. In this new version, you discover that beneath all the arrogance, control and emotional walls is someone who does have a heart. He isn't avoiding love because he can't feel it—he's avoiding it because he's terrified of being hurt. Every relationship, every push away, every mask he wears comes from fear rather than a lack of emotion. The songs now reveal those cracks in his armour. What once sounded like confidence can now be heard as self-protection. What looked like manipulation is often emotional survival. The story hasn't changed completely—it has evolved into something more human. The Beast – Reimagined isn't about turning the character into a hero. He's still flawed. He still makes mistakes.
