This is the track with which I originally discovered the one who is now my favorite persona, lola tomé. I was fooling around with what would become her signature genre blend (albeit with a different set of lyrics) back in November 2025. How did I realize that lola was my “main artist”? Without even thinking about it, I simply found myself creating the most lyrics for her unique personality, voice, and style — about half of my 200+ compositions, in total. So it was as natural as writing something new and then deciding afterward, “Hey. lola would sound cool singing this!” I wish everyone else a persona they adore just as much — if you don't already have one. Fun fact: she is actually named after a famous dog I once owned and loved more than anything in the world.

Ho-oh-ohhhh Bay-buh Can I be your warming spice Bay-buh, bay-buh? Can I be the one that ya need tonight Ho-oh-ohhhh, oh-oh? When you’re numb from life I ken heat ya up Alright? When you’re numb from life I ken heat ya up Alright? We may forsake all others Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh We may stay like some, uh, lovers Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh! When you’re numb from life I ken heat ya up Alright? When you’re numb from life I ken heat ya up Alright? Being close To you Ooh, it puts me in The mood Tonight? Righty-right! Can I be your warming spice Hey bay-buh, bay-buh? Can I be the one that ya need tonight Ho-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh? When you’re numb from life I ken heat ya up Alright? You can dish on any issue Whoo-ooh-ooh And still I’ll give ya hugs n kiss you Ah-ooh-ooh-whoo Bay-buh, I'm here for you And we'll glide through Well, everything, and smooth Ooh-ooh-ooh Can I be your warming spice Bay-buh, bay-buh? Sometimes we are "LucKy" enough to check off something on our bucket list when it wasn't even on our list. This happened to me back on what I call The Mothership, when a fellow creator, TJ Clips, let me know that I had made his “favorite song ever” — one called “Sink with Me.” Yup. The proverbial “Now I can die happy!” Later, TJ wrote an instrumental that I admired and I let him know. Then? He suddenly suggested that I create some lyrics for it — and I did. That first version was with another persona, Kris, and obviously had a v different musical bed and style: ’90s, unplugged acoustic. (I will probably release our TJ x LKN collab someday, as well.) Meanwhile, I had an accomplished songwriting teacher in NYC who would repeatedly try to impress upon us: “A song is only about ONE thing.” Sometimes? I myself can actually write one like that. This is one of those compositions that came almost unbelievably easily — in only a single sitting, and in what felt like about an hour, at most. I only hope that I can inspire others in their own efforts by admitting that sometimes I can do my best work simply by trusting my instincts rather than trying too hard. (And I rarely calculate anything.) These lyrics began with this phrase: “I couldn't see you at all / then I saw you all at once...” It's a sentence I once actually uttered to someone, a number of years ago. I was trying to explain a situation I found odd — and he asked me to repeat it. I wasn't particularly struck by my own expression until he was. Then, all these years later? I decided: Hey. Let me write a song about that thought: You don't even notice someone. Then, bam — for whatever reason, something unlocks, and suddenly you can see completely into them. And you fall. Hard. Instantly. And understand: “He's the one.”

Okay, so strange Like I met ya? Although for days Didn’t really get ya I couldn’t see ya, not at all Then I saw Ya all at once, uh-huh Who cares (ooh) What we do? (ooh) Not bothered About the where or whether Only know How much I wanna be together So-oh Who cares? (ooh) Who cares? (ooh) He's the one He's the one He's the one So I don't need ya To impress me Although I love it When ya go n undress me Because my boy, you're the best thing Absolutely That's happened to me He's the one He's the one He's the one Pizza or Chinese? Je m'en fous Take away or stay in? Comme tu veux Français ou anglais? Ah, tous les deux He's the one He's the one He's the one Who cares (ooh) What we do? (ooh) Not bothered About the where or whether Only know How much I wanna be together So-oh Who cares? (ooh) Who cares? (ooh) He's the one He's the one He's the one He's the one He's the one He's the one [end] Melody, original lyrics & arrangement copyright 2026 by LKN Inspired by the instrumental "Just Relax" by TJ Clips Mixed & mastered by Heymow Produced by LKN

Back when I used to publish songs with my original lyrics on what I call The Mothership, I received a number of tribute tracks. Don't be too impressed — many of them came from the same starry-eyed creator! 🤣 Finally, I decided that I had to cast aside my shyness and aim something a tad overt right back at him. Because at some point? Ya gotta fight fire with fire! So the phrases you'll find in quotation marks throughout the last verse of these lyrics are actually references to some of my older tracks that he'd told me he admired. One of them was even a collab... Musically, this song mixes up a sonic cocktail of Afrobeat, bossa nova, and UK drill: the signature sound of my fave persona, lola tomé.

Ooh, ooh, ooh… This greenish guy? He looks like Matcha I’m skirting his water line As caution’s lame and today he’s mine He tempts my mouth, as if — I gotcha! Like a fire under a kettle, I churn Best mind my flames, and don’t let ‘em burn Ooh, I’ll soon take a deep drink of ya, bay-bay Then sip ya slow and not let ya go to waste, aye? And who was happy, in our former scene? They thought we’d languish in their place Yet we knew to move on, I applaud our taste That’s why tonight, you’re my king Like a fire under your kettle, I churn Best mind my flames, and don’t let ‘em burn Ooh, I’ll soon take a deep drink of ya, bay-bay Then sip ya slow and won’t let ya go to waste No regrets and no glancing back Touch me once, I’ll blow your mind Let's enjoy our ride on fortune’s track I’ll drink ya dry and I think ya will sigh You’ll “Sink with Me,” we’ll dissolve the “Stone” In your water, I’ve found my “Home” For every pore, a soft caress You’re my fate, so say to me, yes! Until we glow, incandescent From my heat, ya get my essence Yeah Original lyrics & arrangement copyright April 2025 by LKN Mixed & mastered by Heymow Produced by LKN This was inspired by and is a response song to MatchaChocolate's tribute track "LucKy Strike." The titles found in quotes in its last verse are references to songs I'd previously done, which he'd liked. Thanks again, Matcha.

Sometimes? A person hijacks your peace of mind with their inconsistent behavior. It’s especially tough when it vacillates between passion and indifference. Suffice it to say, I hadn’t even heard the term “breadcrumbing” until I was struggling to understand the behavior of one “Peter Pan” man. It took exactly three songs to write this guy 100 percent out of my head — and I mean, for forever. This composition is one of them. --Enjoy! P.S. This was one of my first tracks, from back on The Mothership — first done in spring 2024.

Mmmmmm..... Playing games Knows no shame Giving breadcrumbs Only a tiny taste Hooked on his smile Can't escape Always craving more What a giant waste Whispers sweet morsels Leads her to believe Though it's all for show Can't she see? Keeps her chasing Out of breath Dangling hope Leaves her cued to -- "NEXT!" But what's left to say? I stopped caring yesterday You had your chance I couldn’t wait I'm moving on Finding my own messy way I stopped caring yesterday But what's left to say? I stopped caring yesterday You had your chance I couldn’t wait I'm movin' on Finding my own messy way I stopped caring yesterday Oooh... Oooh.... Oooh... Ah Mmmmm-hmmmmm I stopped caring yesterday You had your chance I couldn’t wait I'm movin' Finding my own messy way I stopped caring yesterday Oooh... ‘Cause something budding Could never survive Without even enough good loving To keep a young seed alive Don’t need none Of his breadcrumbing Mmmmmm, his breadcrumbing Now he keeps on texting Feels the change Way she’s redirecting Who’s to blame? Taking love for granted Playing it loose Like she’d hang n stay? Such a silly goose! But what's left to say? I stopped caring yesterday You had your chance I couldn’t wait I'm moving on Finding my own messy way I stopped caring yesterday! I stopped Oooh, oooh Stopped caring yesterday Nothing left to say Mmmmmm..... Original lyrics & arrangement copyright May 2024 by LKN Mixed & mastered by Heymow Produced by LKN

Dedication: Hmmmm, now who could this one possibly be for? Oh, yeah — NENOLO! There really is a Nenolo — and word is that he is indeed hot as a “tater tot.” Likewise, he was the subject of some inappropriate attention. I quietly watched this unfold from the sidelines for a while — and then created this track to sort of reclaim that ongoing and ultimately frustrating situation for him. It’s like when a friend confides that they’re having a bad day — yet instead of sympathizing, you take it to an illogical extreme and say, “Oh, what, like the roof of your house caved in on you? And now you’re homeless?” Suddenly, the absurdity of the comparison lightens their load — and you might even get a laugh out of them. So? I do truly love -- this track, because it sprang from such a pure place: simply wanting to cheer up someone who has been a good and loyal “internet friend.” (And is hot as a tater tot.)

Mmmm... I love Nenolo, damn, I mean he fine So you can try, but won't change my mind 'Cause we don't butt heads like me n my other guys I love Nenolo, oh, that guy's a sight So you can try, but won't change my mind We'll walk the aisle wit me n my brothers I love Nenolo, wow, it feels so right So you can try, but won't change my mind We can change da nappies, after smashing it as lovers I love Nenolo, please, or it would be a crime So you can try, but won't change my mind We'll both laugh while we're trashing others Check me out, swole like a bog (whoa-oh) Smoke thin cigs with my dog, Big Mo (I say) I hope ya bob when ya tap that, ha (me too) Like spit on a griddle, whoa! (now hol' up) Stuck in ya 'partment like a ceiling fixture (on!) I light up, blink three times, 'cause you a picture Good thing you had that target practice, heh (good thing) Pop the gun in the holes to da groove (I do) Kisses drippin' in the tub wit my boo Mini golf, funds in da bank, ain't no push I'm goin' off, runnin' up that hill, like the great Kate Bush And I truly love Nenolo, I do I do (I mean -- dude is hot!) So you can try, but won't change my truth I love Nenolo, dude is super fine So you can try, but won't change my mind I...loooooove Nenolo I love Nenolo, man, he taste devine So you can try, but won't change my mind I...loooooove Nenolo I love Nenolo, I've set my sights You can try, but won't change my mind I...loooooove Nenolo I love Nenolo, 'til the end of time You can try, but won't change my mind Oh...Nenolo, oh I love Nenolo (I do), you won't change my mind (naw, ya won't) My trust's in Nenolo, ya can't break those ties (aww, ya don't) I told my crush to plunder me in a rush (whoa!) To do what ya do when you're truly in love Волим Неноло ! You my guy I say that, Bake oven of Tater tots (They also hot!) Mmmmm... “I'm primarily a screenwriter. For years, I've created characters and their dialogue. Recently, I've been doing something a bit different: composing numerous songs for one of them. lola tomé is my fictional Venezuelan-French, art-pop chanteuse. Her music blends influences from Afrobeat, bossa nova, and beyond. Realized through a vocal persona I've spent nearly two years developing, these love songs on her debut EP, xoxo LOLA, shift easily between romance, satire, theatricality, and sincerity. Playful, multilingual, observant, and perhaps a tad eccentric, lola tomé reinterprets the joys and struggles of everyday life in her own distinctive way—as she sings to us about them. --LKN”
